Democrats are shifting to dam folks linked to the January 6 Capitol riots from accessing a not too long ago created US Division of Justice’s (DOJ) $1.8 billion slush fund.

Democrat lawmakers launched laws this week to forestall individuals within the January 6, 2021, assault on the US Capitol from receiving compensation via a newly created Justice Division fund established by the Trump administration. 

The proposed measure, titled the “No Rewards for January 6 Rioters Act,” comes amid rising scrutiny over the Justice Division’s not too long ago introduced $1.776 billion “Anti-Weaponization Fund,” which was created as a part of a settlement between President Donald Trump and the Inside Income Service.
