Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing’s breakout star and underbite king, Ted, has died aged 13.
The BBC introduced that the much-loved canine, who has spent the final six years tagging together with Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse on their fishing adventures, died – and can make his remaining look within the upcoming sequence.
Bob Mortimer paid tribute to Ted, saying: “So very, very unhappy. Beautiful Ted, one of the best companion and the best little chum. Going to overlook him a lot.. and away boss.”
Whitehouse added: “Bye bye Ted outdated buddy. He wasn’t a canine, he was a species all of his personal. He’s gone to the good briefcase emporium within the sky. We are going to actually miss you mate.”
Ted belonged to Gone Fishing government producer Lisa Clark, having been rescued from a canine residence in Surrey at simply six months outdated within the Spring of 2013.
“Ted was a much-loved household pet in addition to a treasured companion to Paul and Bob on Gone Fishing,” Clark mentioned in a press release.
“He took fame in his little stride and liked nothing higher than messing round on the riverbanks, nicking jammy dodgers from Bob and bait from Paul. He shall be sorely missed each at residence and on display screen. We’ll always remember him. He’s survived at residence by Bo the Briard.”
